Sign up freeIs it allowable to have two golden retrievers in a unit? Very interest in the property.
Hi Joe, welcome to Common Elements. We can help research this, but we need the name of the community/association (or the property address) you’re considering. Pet rules can vary significantly by association, including limits on the number of dogs, size, breed, and other restrictions. Reply here with the community name or property address and we’ll see what current association records or governing documents we can find regarding two golden retrievers.

I love dogs. Grew up with dogs but the idea of two large animals and a person in 1000 square ft does create a disturbance coming and going in common areas and size should certainly matter.
My neighbor a nice person has at least a 80 pnd dog that he wrestles with inside even on a nice day outside. Or they run up the steps and play fetch and it like they are in the same room with you.
If you want a large dogs and 2 of them there are “ranch condominiums that would be more accommodating. The management company recommends calling the police for disturbances but that presents hard feelings toward neighbors a should not be necessary.
Any thoughts?
