We are currently interested in possibly purchasing a home in High Point North. Can you please provide the HOA rules for the community? Particularly interested in HOA fees, pet policies and rules regarding owners permitting/restricting renters within the community.
Thanks.

Hi Lynn, welcome to Common Elements. We’re the Common Elements team, not the HOA, but we did some digging for you. For High Point North in Lakeland, recent public/property records indicate the HOA assessment is about $360 per year ($30/month). Pets are permitted, although some recent listings note that pet or breed restrictions may apply, so we would verify the current rules before relying on that for a purchase. Rental restrictions are the part we don’t want to guess about: available property records conflict on the current lease rules, so the governing documents or association/manager should be treated as authoritative. The association is High Point North Homeowners Association, Inc. Public records identify AIA Property Management Services as the management/registered-agent contact. We’re also continuing to look for current governing documents that may answer the pet and rental questions more precisely. If you learn anything newer directly from the association, please add it here too — it can help the next buyer researching High Point North.
