This is the General Discussion room — the public front porch of Common Elements. CAMs, board members, vendors, attorneys, anyone in or adjacent to the community association industry is welcome to read along, sign up, and post.

Use this room for cross-profession conversation: industry news, a question for the room, an introduction. The professional rooms (CAM Corner, Board Discussions, Vendor Talk, Legal Questions) are scoped to specific roles and stay member-only.

A few house rules: be specific (vague gripes are useless to anyone), name names of laws and licenses (industry runs on specifics), keep it civil (this is a professional space, not a hot-takes feed). The rest will sort itself out.
