Florida LCAM Licensure Requirements
Under Florida law, individuals seeking to become licensed Community Association Managers (CAMs) must complete 16 hours of pre-licensure education from a DBPR-approved provider before taking the state examination. Our comprehensive pre-licensure courses are designed to prepare you for the exam and provide the foundation you need for a successful career in community association management.
Education
Complete 16 hours of pre-licensure education from a DBPR-approved provider covering all required topics.
Examination
Pass the state examination with a score of 75% or higher within 12 months of completing pre-licensure education.
Application
Submit application to DBPR, including fingerprints for background check. Must be at least 18 years old.
